The online world often has a bad reputation when it comes to health. We’ve all been told not to search our symptoms online and to only speak to trusted professionals when it comes to our health and wellbeing. Yet, COVID-19 has seen an unprecedented demand in mental health services. People have been left unable to access in-person services and, so, they have been forced to move online.
Due to the rising demand of online tools, Google is partnering with Lifeline Australia and The Black Dog Institute to ensure this demand is met. These online tools will provided online access to essential health services. This article from The Sydney Morning Herald also recommends safely using social media groups as well as listening to podcasts like this one from Two Shrinks to combat isolation and reduce the stigma associated with mental health problems.

This workshop is available to view online at any time via our YouTube channel. We also compiled a resource for you to download and keep on hand.
