As I was reading The Guardian’s article on Masked Moves & Ballet in the Bath I serendipitously happened upon this amazing senior using TikTok to share her wonderful dance moves online. Ballet and bedroom dancing, a wonderfully unique combination. I delved further into this amazing world and devoured stunning ballet videos. I knew people were moving online to keep in touch and stay connected but I was a stranger to this fabulous digital world of dance.
TikTok user “restepepe” shows off her amazing prowess for dancing, costume changes and editing. Dancers from the Alonzo King Lines Ballet show there is no standing still during the pandemic. Dancers film in their homes, in nature and even in bath tubs and give us, even this ballet newbie, absolute joy and awe.
