We are government funded with support from both DLF and Penrith City Council. There is no fee for participants. Participants must be aged 65+ or 50+ for First Nations.

Can I take the iPad home?

Yes, throughout the loan program you use the iPad as if it were your own. We've even added a protective case to ensure maximum safety and protection.

The Click and Connect program is delivered in partnership with Penrith City Council and Digital Literacy Foundation.

The 2022 Click and Connect Program was funded by the Department of Community and Justice (DCJ) – Reducing Social Isolation for Seniors grant as part of an initiative under Ageing Well in NSW: Seniors Strategy 2021-2031.

The 2023 Click and Connect Program will continue with generous funding from the Okta for Good Fund and Tides Foundation.

What you'll get to enjoy...

Apple iPad

All of the iPads available for loan are brand new. You will be equipped with an iPad 9th Generation (WiFi + Cellular). They even come with a case that protects the device for you. While we expect that you will care for the device as best as you are able; you are not liable for any damage. 

Free Data

Each iPad is equipped with free data meaning you can access the Internet, download apps, and contact your family and friends even if you don’t have the Internet at home. You won’t even have to search for free Wi-Fi when you’re out and about which is better for security.

Our Events

We’ll be running Click and Connect events throughout Penrith. You can also organise your own session with a group of friends. To find out what events are coming up or to book your own please call us on (02) 9090 4141.
